The Saint Peter’s Old Collegians Football Club entered the South Australian Amateur Football League in 1928 and ranks fourth in seasons played.

It is the most successful old scholars’ club having won two A1 premierships in 1935 and 2012. We frequently have players selected for State and All-Australian teams. SPOC football club presently fields three teams and  provides a competitive but enjoyable football environment for all players notwithstanding their level of skill and ability. In addition, we strive to give to our players and supporters alike all the opportunities a strong and successful community football club can offer.

We encourage, and have developed, a broad culture bringing together young people from all walks of life so that we benefit from the hybrid strength diversity brings.

We have put together what we believe to be the best coaching panel in the SAAFL with the aim of improving the footballing ability of all our players and even a season with us will help you take the next step in your football career no matter what your aspirations are.

We are justifiably proud of the fact that our players are long term and transfers to other teams are infrequent. Not only does this demonstrate that our players enjoy their football at SPOC, it provides an environment in which friendships off the field are forged. As our strong and vocal group of supporters will attest, these friendships last for life and their passion for the SPOC football club continues to be kindled by their weekly encounters with each other at our games.

We are proud of our past and very confident of our ability to provide to any newcomer to our club a very warm welcome and participation, at all levels, in an enjoyable and successful experience both on and off the field.
